Prompt Engineering & Integration for Cambridge Educators at Oxford International School
Yesterday, on January 11, 2026, I had the distinct honor of leading a transformative workshop for the dedicated educators and staff of Oxford International School (OIS) at their Dhanmondi campus in Dhaka. The session, titled "Prompt Engineering & Integration for Cambridge Educators," brought together teachers and administrative staff from every branch of the OIS network to explore the future of education in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
As the founder of Metamorphosis Ltd, my goal has always been to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and practical application. Standing before a room full of passionate Cambridge educators, I began by reframing the narrative around AI. I believe AI should never be viewed as a replacement for the teacher; rather, it is an "Exoskeleton for the Mind". It is a powerful co-pilot designed to handle repetitive, heavy-lifting tasks, thereby freeing educators to focus on the deeply human work of empathy, connection, and mentorship.
A central pillar of our session was mastering the art of the prompt. I introduced the C.R.E.A.T.E. Framework—a structured approach I developed to move from simple "chatting" with AI to true "engineering". By focusing on Context, Request, Explicit Information, Artifact, Tone, and Example, teachers learned how to generate high-quality lesson plans, rubrics, and teaching aids that are specifically tailored to the Cambridge curriculum and the local context of Bangladesh. We even practiced "localizing" AI outputs, ensuring that creative writing prompts featured rickshaws and Old Dhaka's alleys instead of Western-centric imagery like snow.
The workshop was deeply practical, catering to the entire academic spectrum from Primary to A-Levels. For Primary teachers, we looked at AI as a resource generator for instant stories and differentiated reading materials. For Lower Secondary, we explored using AI as a "Socratic Tutor" to encourage inquiry-based learning. For the IGCSE and A-Level staff, the focus shifted to academic integrity, exam technique, and using AI to decode complex Cambridge mark schemes into student-friendly checklists.
Beyond the classroom, we discussed the "10x Admin Mindset". I demonstrated how administrative staff could reclaim hours of their week by using AI to draft professional meeting minutes, event project plans, and parent communications with precision and speed. However, we remained grounded in ethics, emphasizing a strict "Red Line" regarding data privacy—never inputting student names or sensitive IDs into public models.
Seeing the lightbulb moments throughout the day was incredibly rewarding. By the end of the session, the staff weren't just looking at a new tool; they were looking at a way to reclaim their time and amplify their impact. At Metamorphosis Ltd, we are proud to support OIS in leading the charge for AI integration in Bangladesh's English-medium sector. The future of education isn't just about the technology we use—it's about the humans we empower with it.
